Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: 15 June 2026  ·  Last updated: 15 June 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules that govern your use of the Fabrik platform, the AI generation capabilities it provides, and any content produced through or submitted to the Service. This AUP is incorporated by reference into the Fabrik Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP.

Fabrik is built for game developers, studios, and creative teams who need production-ready asset pipelines. We want the platform to be as open and powerful as possible for legitimate creative work. These rules exist to protect users, prevent harm to third parties, and ensure the long-term viability of the Service.

1. Permitted Uses

You may use the Service to:

  • Generate, organize, review, and export game assets for use in commercial or non-commercial game development projects, including mobile, PC, console, web, and iGaming/casino titles;
  • Produce concept art, UI elements, symbols, background art, icons, audio effects, music, and voice lines for your projects;
  • Collaborate with team members within your organizational account on shared projects;
  • Integrate generated assets into your game engine or pipeline (Unity, Unreal, Godot, custom);
  • Use the Fabrik API, where available under your subscription, to build internal tooling or integrations within your organization; and
  • Access the Service for testing, evaluation, or non-production prototyping within your plan’s credit limits.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service for any of the following purposes. Violations may result in immediate account suspension, termination, and/or reporting to relevant authorities.

2.1 Illegal and Harmful Content

  • Generating, distributing, or facilitating content that is illegal under applicable law, including content that violates export controls, data protection laws, or gambling regulations specific to your jurisdiction;
  • Producing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content depicting minors. This is an absolute prohibition and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to law enforcement;
  • Creating content designed to incite violence, terrorism, or hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin; and
  • Generating content that constitutes harassment, stalking, or targeted abuse of any individual.

2.2 Intellectual Property Violations

  • Submitting prompts or reference materials that instruct the Service to reproduce copyrighted works verbatim or to produce slavish imitations of specific third-party intellectual property (e.g., attempting to clone the visual identity of a named competitor’s game UI or character design);
  • Uploading reference files to which you do not hold the necessary rights; and
  • Submitting prompts that incorporate or reproduce substantial portions of third-party source code, proprietary scripts, or trade secrets without authorization.

2.3 Deceptive and Fraudulent Activity

  • Using the Service to generate fake reviews, fabricated testimonials, or deceptive promotional material for any product or service;
  • Generating synthetic media (deepfakes) depicting real individuals without their explicit informed consent, particularly in contexts that could be defamatory, embarrassing, or misleading;
  • Using Generated Content to misrepresent affiliation with, endorsement by, or the identity of real organizations, brands, or individuals; and
  • Creating assets intended to facilitate fraud, phishing, social engineering, or other deceptive schemes.

2.4 Platform Integrity

  • Attempting to access or extract account data, generated assets, or proprietary platform functionality belonging to other users without authorization;
  • Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the Service or any associated infrastructure without our express written consent;
  • Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to submit generation requests at a rate that circumvents or exceeds your plan’s rate limits;
  • Interfering with, disrupting, or degrading the Service for other users; and
  • Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or otherwise attempting to extract the source code, algorithms, or model weights underlying the Service.

2.5 Resale and Sublicensing

  • Reselling, sublicensing, or providing third-party access to the Service (including the API) in a manner that substitutes for them purchasing their own Fabrik subscription, without our express written consent;
  • Operating a white-label or OEM service built directly on the Fabrik API without a separately negotiated Enterprise or API-reseller agreement; and
  • Sharing account credentials with individuals who are not authorized members of your organizational account.

2.6 Weapons and Dangerous Material

  • Generating technical documentation, instructions, or detailed visual guides that could assist in the manufacture of weapons (conventional, biological, chemical, nuclear, or radiological), even in the form of ostensibly fictional game assets; and
  • Producing content that promotes or glorifies real-world violence, terrorism, or self-harm in a manner that goes beyond recognized fictional/narrative conventions.

3. Age-Restricted and Mature Content

Some subscription plans permit generation of mature content (e.g., stylized violence appropriate for M-rated games, non-explicit adult themes). If your plan includes these capabilities, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring that use of mature content features complies with applicable law in your jurisdiction, including age-gating requirements for distributed products;
  • Not requesting content that sexualizes minors or that could constitute CSAM under any applicable definition; and
  • Marking projects containing mature content appropriately within the platform so that collaborators with restricted access roles are not inadvertently exposed.

Fabrik reserves the right to disable mature content generation for individual accounts if we determine there is misuse, regardless of subscription tier.

4. Gambling and iGaming Content

The Service is commonly used to generate assets for iGaming and casino game titles (slot symbols, reel frames, paytable art, win-state animations). This is a permitted and explicitly supported use case. However, you must:

  • Ensure your product complies with applicable gambling licensing, responsible gaming, and advertising regulations in all jurisdictions where it will be distributed;
  • Not use the Service to generate game mechanics, odds tables, or RNG-related logic — Fabrik generates art and audio assets only, not functional gambling software; and
  • Not target or market gambling products to minors. If your end product is directed at adult audiences only, you are responsible for enforcing appropriate access controls in your distribution channels.

5. User-Generated Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you submit to the Service, including prompts, reference materials, and the Generated Content you produce with them. By using the Service, you confirm that:

  • You have the legal right to submit all reference materials and instructions you provide;
  • You will not rely on the Service as the sole arbiter of whether Generated Content is free from third-party rights — you are responsible for your own clearance review before commercial use; and
  • You will not mislead end consumers of your product about the AI-generated nature of assets where disclosure is required by law or platform policy.

6. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content on the Service that you believe violates this AUP, or if you are aware of a user who is misusing the platform, please report it to:

trust@fabrik.ai

We investigate all credible reports and take appropriate action, which may include removing content, suspending accounts, or notifying law enforcement.

7. Enforcement

Fabrik reserves the right to take any of the following actions in response to violations of this AUP, at our sole discretion:

  • Issue a warning and require corrective action;
  • Remove or quarantine offending content;
  • Temporarily suspend your account and pause Credit accrual;
  • Permanently terminate your account and forfeit unused Credits without refund;
  • Restrict specific generation capabilities on your account without affecting access to other features; or
  • Report violations to relevant regulatory or law enforcement authorities.

Where the violation does not represent an immediate risk of harm, we will generally give you notice and an opportunity to cure before taking severe action. We may act immediately and without notice for serious violations, including but not limited to CSAM, credible threats of violence, and active platform attacks.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised AUP.
